Oba-elect, Olowolekomoh, loses mother

The Oba-elect of Odo Nla kingdom-Ikorodu, Lagos, Prince Olusoga Olowolekomoh has lost his mother, Alhaja Falilat Olowolekomoh.

She died on Monday at the age of 75, and was buried the next day, according to Islamic rites.

The Fidua prayers will be held for her on 21 February at the Soga Lekomoh International Limited, Plot 314, Lagos Road, Majidun, Ikorodu, Lagos, between Noon and 2 pm.

Paying tribute to his late mother, businessman and philanthropist, Prince Olowolekomoh said: “Whilst acknowledging your condolences, prayers and supports, I use this opportunity to express my profound appreciation for the affection and sympathies extended to my family during this time. May we all be survived by our children and enjoy good health and longevity to old age by the special grace of God Almighty, the giver of life.

“My best regards also to those who are able to spare their precious time to attend the burial event impromptu. Will appreciate your presence at the eighth day Fidau prayer on  Tuesday, 21 February. Time is 12 Noon. Thank you all and accept my compliments.

Prince Olowolekomoh emerged the Ob- elect of Odo-Nla kingdom last December among five other contestants to the ancient throne from the Ogbodo and Raselu ruling houses.

As revealed in a signed statement by the Olootu Oba Meta, Asiwaju Otunba David Ekiyoyo, it was a painstaking and thorough exercise that produced Olowolekomoh.
