Popular TikTok content creator, Habeeb Hamzat, better known as Peller, has alleged that phone thefts and a road accident occurred outside the venue of his traditional wedding, disrupting guests during the ceremony.
Peller made the claims during a livestream while reflecting on the events surrounding his recent traditional wedding to fellow TikTok personality, Amadou Elizabeth Aminata, popularly known as Jarvis or Jadrolita.
According to the content creator, he intends to make his forthcoming white wedding different from the traditional ceremony, which he described as chaotic due to incidents that reportedly occurred outside the venue.
“No worry, my white wedding no go be like the way una do that day. Na so I see one video wey car go jam one guy,” he said.
Peller alleged that suspected hoodlums, popularly referred to as “agberos”, gathered around the venue and disrupted the celebration, with some guests reportedly losing their mobile phones.
“Agbero don occupy Lagos. No be small. Agbero plenty pass guests wey come to my wedding. Agbero plenty outside. People wey come say dem dey snatch their phones. Una know how many phone I don pay for?” he alleged.
He further claimed that a female guest had her phone stolen shortly after arriving at the venue.
“One girl, as she reach, na so dem snatch her phone for gate. Dem run away,” Peller said.
The TikToker also recounted how he was informed of an alleged road accident while he was inside the venue celebrating his marriage.
“Me wey I dey inside hall dey do my wedding, na so them say I kill person.
“Agbero stay for front of car. Them say comot, he no gree. The car owner vex con jam am,” he alleged.
Peller did not provide further details about the alleged accident or confirm whether anyone sustained serious injuries.
The claims come shortly after his traditional wedding generated significant attention on social media, with the ceremony attracting both congratulatory messages and criticism from some members of the public.
