AAC presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore has urged President Bola Tinubu to take advantage of adult education and return to primary and secondary school.
Sowore made the remark on Monday after appearing at the Federal High Court in Abuja for his defamation trial involving the President.
The human rights activist criticised Tinubu over the educational information contained in the personal particulars submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
According to Sowore, Tinubu did not include details of his primary and secondary education in the credentials submitted to the electoral commission.
“President Tinubu didn’t go to primary and secondary school. He only presented a paper from Chicago State University, which was different from the paper he presented in 1999,” Sowore alleged.
He advised the President to consider returning to school through an adult education programme.
“I’m advising him that it’s not too late to take advantage of adult education. Let him go back to primary school online,” Sowore said.
Sowore’s comments come amid renewed scrutiny of the educational credentials and records submitted by political candidates to INEC ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The allegations are part of a long-running political dispute between Sowore and Tinubu, with the AAC candidate continuing to question aspects of the President’s personal and political records.
