Police probe viral Abuja video traffic offence officer

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Police Command on Wednesday commenced investigation involving Assistant Superintendent (ASP) Attahiru Isah, who was involved in a viral video over traffic offence.

The police officer engaged in an altercation with the driver of a vehicle in Galadima area of the Federal Capital Territory.

A statement by the FCT Police Public Relations Officer, Superintendent (SP) Josephine Adeh explained: ‘Consequently, the Command has promptly identified and summoned the officer, ASP Attahiru Isah, who was depicted in the footage. Administrative and possible disciplinary procedures have commenced.

‘The Command hereby appeals to the individual(s) involved in the incident, particularly the driver featured in the video, to come forward and assist with credible information to aid ongoing investigations. Your cooperation is vital to ensuring a thorough and fair process.

‘The FCT Police Command remains committed to upholding professionalism, accountability, and discipline within its ranks.
