Praying and Praise Ministries, a rapidly growing church based in Itoki, a border community in Ogun State, has marked its third anniversary with the ordination of five ministers and the launch of a permanent church building.
The church, led by Pastor Adekunle Adekemi, a retired insurance broker and former zonal pastor as well as regional Bible College coordinator in the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), commemorated the anniversary with a series of activities centred on spiritual renewal and evangelism.
The celebration featured a three-day crusade, which attracted a large congregation and focused on soul-winning and evangelism.
The anniversary programme, themed Divine Restoration, concluded on Sunday, 19 July, with the ordination of five deacons and deaconesses during a special thanksgiving service. The event also included the official launch of the church’s permanent building project.
Members, invited guests and other church leaders attended the celebration, which marked a significant milestone in the ministry’s growth over the past three years.
