Inter Women have announced the signing of Super Falcons midfielder Toni Payne.
Payne made the switch from English Women’s Super League, WSL, club Everton Ladies.
The 31-year-old penned a contract with the Nerazzurri until 30 June, 2028.
The former United States of America youth international started her professional career in the Netherlands with Ajax.
Payne moved to Spanish club Sevilla in 2018 where she spent six years before moving to Everton two years ago.
The versatile midfielder was part of Nigeria’s squad that won a record-extending 10th title at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
She was named in the Super Falcons squad for the upcoming WAFCON 2026 finals by head coach Justine Madugu on Friday.
