ValueJet is set to launch two new routes – Owerri to Abuja and Accra to Banjul – with the aim of expanding and strengthening regional integration across West Africa.
The airline will begin daily flights from Owerri-Abuja on 18 May to create a direct link between the South-East Geopolitical Zone and Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory.
This is according to a statement by the airline’s Managing Director, Capt. Omololu Majekodunmi, on Tuesday.
Majekodunmi said that airline would start the Accra-Banjul route on 14 May in line with its regional expansion strategy,
The managing director said the Owerri-Abuja route would serve the travel needs of businessmen, professionals, government officials, families, students and leisure travellers.
He said the airline would operate the Accra-Banjul route three times weekly, expressing the hope that it would promote regional mobility, tourism, trade and economic collaboration within West Africa.
