The Managing Director of ANOH Gas Processing Company (AGPC), Mr. James Makinde, has reaffirmed the company’s commitment to strengthening its partnership with host communities

During a courtesy visit to His Royal Majesty, Eze (Dr.) Emmanuel Assor, who is the paramount ruler of Assa Kingdom, Makinde assured the monarch that AGPC would build on the legacy of previous leadership.

‘Whatever my predecessor did that the community appreciated will not change. My goal is to improve on it, and I will rely on Your Majesty’s guidance as we move forward’, he said.

He disclosed that while production commenced on 16 January 2026, the plant is currently operating at about 25% capacity due to third-party constraints, noting that efforts are underway with government stakeholders to resolve the issues.

The monarch congratulated the Managing Director and reaffirmed the community’s strong support for AGPC.

‘AGPC is part of us. We regard it as our own company, and we will continue to support its operations’, he said, commending the company’s engagement with the community.

He also highlighted key community needs, including security support, particularly the provision of a patrol vehicle to complement the recently completed police station.

Both parties reiterated their commitment to sustained collaboration, dialogue, and shared development.

The visit, one of the ACPC Managing Director’s scheduled official outings since assuming office, was part of efforts to deepen stakeholder engagement and sustain a peaceful operating environment.
