The Publisher of News Orient Network, Mr. Samuel Hezekiah Egburonu, a member of Nigeria Guild of Editors (NGE), is among the 942 latest aspirants called to the Nigerian Bar as Barristers and Solicitors of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, on Tuesday at the Body of Benchers Complex Abuja.
Admitting the aspirants to the learned profession, the Chairman of Body of Benchers, Justice Olukayode Arewoola urged the new wigs to protect the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 (as amended) and to protect rule of law and justice always.
In attendance at the colourful event were the Chief Justice, Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun; Vice Chairman of the Body of Benchers, Olorogun Albert Akpomudje; Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Prince Lateef Fagbemi; President of the Nigerian Bar Association, Mazi Afam Osigwe; Secretary of Body of Benchers, Daniel Tela; and many other Life Benchers and Benchers.
Other distinguished attendees included the Chairman of Council of Legal Education, Chief Emeka Ngige; Director-General of the Nigerian Law School, Prof. Isa Hayatu Chiroma; and Secretary of the Council of Legal Education, Aderonke Osho.
