The relationship between Nigerian music star Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba or 2Face, and his wife, Natasha Osawaru, has come under renewed public attention following a reported altercation involving the couple outside a nightclub in Abuja on Friday.
The incident reportedly occurred during the opening of 90s Lounge and has since generated widespread discussion on social media, with videos purportedly showing the couple during the incident circulating across various platforms.
However, the circumstances surrounding the reported confrontation remain unclear, and the videos in circulation do not appear to establish what led to the incident.
Some accounts circulating online alleged that Osawaru arrived at the venue with a group of men and waited for 2Baba to arrive. She was then said to have approached the singer’s vehicle and requested to speak with him.
Although the circulating footage does not show Osawaru confronting the singer, some reports claimed that the encounter resulted in a commotion outside the venue before 2Baba allegedly took her inside to prevent the situation from escalating.
Other accounts have claimed that the couple had been experiencing difficulties in their relationship and had not seen each other for several months. It was further alleged that the singer had told Osawaru that he no longer wanted to continue the relationship.
Those claims could not be independently verified.
An eyewitness who claimed to have been at the venue also alleged that Osawaru arrived before 2Baba and approached his vehicle when he arrived, apparently in an attempt to speak with him.
The eyewitness said the pair eventually went into the club together.
“Allegedly, 2Face and his latest wife, Natasha, haven’t been on good terms for months, and she hasn’t even been able to see him,” the eyewitness claimed.
The eyewitness further alleged that Osawaru had learnt about the opening of the venue and went there ahead of the singer, before approaching his vehicle when he arrived.
The development comes amid sustained public interest in the couple’s relationship, particularly since their wedding in July 2025.
The latest reported incident has renewed speculation about the state of their marriage, with social media users offering varying interpretations of the footage and claims surrounding the encounter.
Neither 2Baba nor Osawaru had, at the time of reporting, publicly clarified the circumstances surrounding the reported altercation.
