Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo has denied reports that she dumped her husband, Bobby Maris, amid ongoing speculation surrounding their marriage.
The actress made the clarification on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, while responding to comments on her Instagram post.
A follower had accused Ogbodo of abandoning her husband shortly after undergoing cosmetic surgery.
Responding to the claim, the actress simply stated, “I didn’t dump my husband.”
She also reacted to another follower who pleaded with her to forgive her husband, although she did not provide further details about the current state of their relationship.
The latest development comes about a month after Ogbodo publicly announced that she and Maris had separated.
At the time, the actress questioned why a woman becoming tired of her marriage was often treated as a taboo.
“For person to tire for marriage now nah taboo because nah woman! Must it always be man must taya? My tayad is tayad! Am tayad of the Princess wey dey marry me,” she wrote.
Ogbodo also expressed frustration over the years she had spent in the marriage and warned against pushing her to her limit.
The actress and Maris got married in 2023 and share two children.
