The Podium to be unveiled in Ibadan 31 August

The global unveiling of the print edition of The Podium International magazine continues in Ibadan on Wednesday, 31 August from 10.00 am at Le Ville Event Centre, Eleiyele.

The unveiling event will also feature a business talk on “The Role of Effective Communication in Career and Business Success”, to be delivered by a renowned communications scholar, Mr Femi Ipadeola. He is also a Public Relations consultant, and Content Lead and Board Member at BOOM Television.

The Podium is a general interest magazine which commenced operations in 2019 with an online edition via www.thepodiummedia.com. The print edition debuted in the United States in 2021. It currently circulates in Houston, Dallas, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, and Indianapolis.

The magazine was unveiled in Lagos on 7 June, and in London 11 days later.

It will be presented in Manchester, UK on 23 September; South Africa on 1 October 1; and Canada in November.

The vision of The Podium magazine is to build a global media brand that celebrates the good deeds of Nigerians all over the world.

“Our mission is to celebrate Nigerian professionals, business managers, and entrepreneurs with legitimate means of livelihood. The focus is on sharing success stories so that others can learn and be inspired”, according to the Publisher, Mr Ademola Akinbola.

He added: “We are focused on identifying and serenading the good and exemplary deeds of Nigerians at home and abroad.

“We are irrevocably committed to pioneering a culture revolution under which outstanding feats of honest and diligent Nigerians will be showcased for posterity. The Podium International Magazine is a platform created to promote Nigeria and Nigerians in a way that will add value to those concerned and the country in general”.
